ABOUT THE HOOF CARE KIT
"I have been very impressed by the speed and efficiency of the Hoof Care Kit. One of my
horses who has a history of foot problems for the last 10 years has not had hoof problems
for the last 18 months. My blacksmith says 'I see it but I don't believe it'""
"My 2 thoroughbreds have been very prone to hoof abscesses, averaging 3 - 4 cases
each a year. When I used the Hoof Care Kit, I was amazed that each time, they were
sound after 3-4 days! And I did not need to dig out the infection, seeing an improvement
within 24 hours! Interestingly, I have only needed to use the remedies twice each, and both have
not had an abscess for the last few years."
ABOUT THE GREASY HEELZ KIT
"We live in a very wet area and my horse is prone to mud fever. I used the Greazy
Heelz Kit, and after about 10 days, the scabs came off easily and he had a new growth
of hair underneath. As it was so muddy, I was unable to keep his legs clean but it worked just as well, even under a layer of mud!"
ABOUT THE FIRST AID KIT & HURTZ CREAM
CHEST WOUND - MURPHY THE HORSE:
"My competition horse, Murphy, cut his chest open on a bolt. 13 stitches later, with the
vet saying no work for 4 months! I used the First Aid Kit, the Hurtz Cream as well as the
Calming & Reassurance Kit for Horses. Six weeks later, the vet was amazed at the
wound - it had healed twice as quick as he thought it would and I was able to bring
Murphy back into work. There was no permanent damage and amazingly just a tiny thin
line where the injury had been. There had been no proud flesh or infections."
DAY 1 - The wound is cleaned & stitched. Antibiotics given |
DAY 2 - Following stitching, the First Aid Kit commenced (used for 5 days) plus Hurtz Cream |
DAY 10 - Skin below horizontal cut has died due to lack of blood supply |
DAY 17 - Healing well. No proud flesh or infections |
DAY 25 - Healing well. Hurtz Cream used daily |
DAY 42 - Fully Healed and back in work just 6 weeks after injury |
WIRE WOUND TO HIND LOWER LEG:
DAY 7 - Proud flesh filling in large area of missing tissue |
The injury was a wire cut down to the bone with an area of missing
tissue approx the size of a lemon. The wound was initially managed with the
First Aid Kit (orally for 5 days) and Hurtz Cream. No antibiotics
were administered and at no stage, were there any signs of infection.
Also note, there is minimal swelling. The wound was cleaned and
bandaged daily for the first 2 weeks, then left open. Once proud flesh
was forming, a preparation from the First Aid Kit was used to absorb the
proud flesh along with daily use of the Hurtz Cream. The first photo is 1
week after injury. There is an area of proud flesh - required in this case
to fill-in the hole caused by the injury. The subsequent photos show the
progress of the wound until healed, 6 weeks after injury. |
DAY 17 - Wound healing well. Proud flesh shrinking |
 |
DAY 37 - Wound in final stages of healing |
